A direct dialogue with farmers — an assembly at Raya

Hundreds of farmers took part in the assembly organised in the Raya region. Discussions covered irrigation arrangements, seed availability, and fair pricing for produce.
Key demands
Farmers raised concerns about canal desilting, timely power supply, and reducing the role of middlemen at the mandi. Every demand has been recorded in writing and forwarded to the concerned department.
The next assembly will be held in the Goverdhan region next month.
